The World's Most Difficult Puzzles are Double Sided. It has the same photo on each side, offset 90 degrees from each other. View a sample display!

Having the same picture on both sides makes any puzzle hard, but there's more to the story. Jigsaw puzzles are cut in a press, stamped out like dough cut with a cookie cutter. This makes a groove in the top of the puzzle and leaves the bottom flat. Any savvy puzzler would easily pick up on this and be able to tell immediately which side is which, except that........... continued below

Eastern Bluebird II

18" wide X 18" high - Suitable for Framing

Eastern Bluebird II

This beautiful bird is a favorite of many people; sighting the brilliantly colored male in spring is a welcome relief from the dreary northeastern winter.

Bluebirds nest in tree cavities, fence posts and, recently, bird boxes; on open farmland with scattered trees. Uncommon for many years, the Eastern Bluebird is making a comeback.

The unmistakable voice of the bluebird in flight is a melodious warble or “chur-lee.” Bluebirds range east of the Rockies from Southern Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. They are often seen perched on fence posts, from which they drop down to the ground to catch insects.

Their diet also consists of small fruits and berries, especially in the winter.

Northern Red Cardinal

What bird showcases the beauty of the contrasting winter landscape better than the Cardinal?

A resident of the eastern United States from southeastern Canada to Mexico, generally east of the Rockies, these accomplished songsters may be heard at any time of the year.

Named after the red robes worn by Roman Catholic cardinals, these birds are aggressively territorial and do not migrate to southern winter homes. These brilliant seed eaters are most welcome guests at many winter feeders, gardens and thickets.

Chickadee

Hardy, restless, and inquisitive, this relatively tame bird spends the winters making the rounds from feeder to feeder - appearing with striking regularity.

With a range as far north as Alaska, through much of Canada and across the northern half of the US, these much-loved birds will occasionally move farther south in the winter. As spring approaches, flocks disband and pairs move deeper into the woods to nest.

They are often seen hanging upside down, clinging to the underside of twigs and branches in their search for food.

Blue Jay
$16.95

18" wide X 18" high - Suitable for Framing

Blue Jay

Striking blue plumage, uniquely mottled with much white and black, along with a prominent crest, makes the Blue Jay one of the most easily recognized songbirds.

Although the Jay has a reputation for chasing smaller birds away from backyard feeders, they are actually sentinels, raucously screaming at the arrival of hawks or roosting owls. Their habit of burying seeds and acorns, many of which are never retrieved, make them efficient tree planters.

The Blue Jay's breeding range is east of the Rockies, from Canada to the Gulf Coast of the U.S.. Traveling in loose flocks, they migrate both spring and fall; birds seen in the east in the winter months are often from the more Northern reaches of the breeding range.
